Startups pushing technology boundaries in cybersecurity were most prominent among the companies that attracted venture funding in October.

The top five companies in this month’s Follow the Money list, including Orca Security and Wiz, are all startups in the cybersecurity space. Web application security tech developer Invicti Security topped the October list.

Also making the list for October are hot startups in database software, machine learning and sales automation applications.
